Richmond was first established in 1784, formed from parts of Williston, Jericho, New Huntington, and later a portion of Bolton. This has contributed to the environment in Richmond, a part of each area that makes Vermont so special. Richmond is bordered by Jericho, Bolton, Huntington, and Williston. The town’s centralized location makes it an ideal location, being less than 20 minutes to Burlington and even less to Bolton Valley for the skiers. Richmond is small in population, with 4,081 people, for those wanting to get away from population heavy areas.
