Colchester is located just north of Burlington, in the picturesque Lake Champlain Valley. This town, like many in Chittenden county, is referred to as a suburb of Burlington. Chartered on June 7, 1763, Colchester is one of the oldest towns in Vermont. It is also the second-most populated town in the state, with 17,067 people as of 2010. Colchester is home to Saint Michael’s College. This town is a well-balanced mix of rural and urban life, with gorgeous lakefront views.
