The town of St. Albans is located in Franklin County in Vermont. The area is known as the islands and farms region of the state. The town surrounds the city of St Albans, which became incorporated in 1902. The population size is just under seven thousand. St. Albans is only a 30 minute drive to Burlington, and even less to the Canadian border. The town is commonly known as the Maple Syrup Capital, and holds a yearly festival celebrating syrup.
